Championship Weekend in the Valley!

The Phoenix Valley has enjoyed another exciting spring season. The Cactus League broke camp on March 27th and made way for the College Basketball Final Four Championship weekend!

Spring Training, once again, was expected to be a big financial boom for the valley especially with the 2023 World Series teams training here!  I was lucky enough to see my Chicago Cubs play the Texas Rangers (we won-😊)!  Spring Training games are always fun and the final revenue figures haven’t been released yet but it was a good season!

Now we move to the College Basketball event of the season. All the teams have made it to the valley and are ready for the most exciting weekend in College Basketball – the Final Four followed by the Championship game!

Friday April 6th it’s North Carolina State vs. Purdue at 3:09 PM then Alabama vs. UConn at 5:49 PM. The National Championship game will kick off on Monday April 8th at 6:20 PM

The event will be held at State Farm Stadium – 1 Cardinals Dr, Glendale AZ and the weather looks to be pretty good. Cool with a very small chance of rain:

Weather this weekend in Glendale:

Friday – 66°/42° Overcast

Saturday – 68°/43° Sunny

Sunday – 75°/47° Sunny

Monday 74°/49° Partly Cloudy

Axios Phoenix has a page that invites you to “Enjoy the Final Four Like a Local”. You’ll find free events and dining deals in the stadium area. Click the link below to view:
