Holidays in Arizona

So, what do people in Arizona do for holiday decorations and how do they make up for the fact that it’s not cold and snowing?

One thing that you will find is there are a lot of “transplants” from the Midwest and northern part of the country, and I think we all miss the holiday atmosphere so we make up for it by decorating to the max! and for every holiday you can think of -😊

I never put out Halloween decorations in my life, but I do now! And I put them out for Thanksgiving and then there is Christmas – oh boy!

Our HOA’s remind us that we can only display holiday decorations not more than 30 days before the season and they must be taken down within 2 weeks of the actual holiday, but you can have a lot of fun during that time.

All over the country, holiday decorations are popping up in the stores months before Christmas, so you have plenty of time to decide on your holiday theme!  You will see some lovely decorations in neighborhoods everywhere across the valley so be sure to get out and have a look.

I’m including 2 links from my friends at Only in Your State – Arizona to winter activities and attractions in Arizona.  Remember, there is snow in the northern part of Arizona if that is your fancy.  Snow or no snow, winter in Arizona is a lovely time and I wish you and your families a very happy and safe holiday season!
